Good morning hope everyone is well, I know it’s been forever since I have done an update. The good thing is we have been super busy on the farm, we have new baby chicks, we have young chickens and young ducks that are all new this year. We have also been going to 2 farmers markets Bucksport at 99maine street Bucksport Maine, Thursday’s 12-3pm and Hampden on the corner of 202 & 9 across from Hannaford, Friday’s 2-5:30pm. We have also opened our own farm stand here at the farm, we are open Sunday’s 10:30am and Tuesday’s 10:30am unless something comes up. I am going to start posting open hours more for folks. We currently have duck eggs for $6 a dozen and chicken eggs for $3 a dozen along with my goats milk soaps starting at $4. Well I am going to close this for now and do another update with pictures this afternoon. Hope everyone has a great day.

Hope everyone is have a great day, here in Maine we are getting snow, sleet, and freezing rain. All the animals are being smart and staying in barn's and coops today, none of us like this nasty weather. Yesterday we took some time and went out with the chickens and the goat's to take some photos and to just spend time with them. I have added another new page called Videos please click here or the tab if you would like to see them. I am going to update them as much as possible. I am also hoping to give the webpage an overhaul in the next couple of weeks so you may see a lot of changes. Now let's get on to the good stuff pictures of the animals.

There are some animals that just steal your heart, this is what one little chicken did to us. You will hear most people say things like “its just a chicken”, “don't get attached to farm animals” or there is no room for pets on a farm”. Well I 100% disagree with all of this, our animals are loved and cared for as though they all pets. This is why I am adding this section to our page, so if you would like to learn more about the very special animals that have touched our hearts and are no longer with us, please click here or on the remembrance tab.

Good evening folks it has been a long day on the farm. We had a chicken emergency, the outdoor temperatures have been close to 0 before any wind and we have a chicken named Puff that has been through a lot in her life. Today she was way to cold and acting like she was going to die. We brought her in the house wrapped her up in a shirt and put her in a box so she could warm up. After assessing her we decided she needed more help so we contacted our sister farm and borrowed a play pen. She is currently in the playpen and doing fair, we are hoping to get her strong enough so she can go outside during the day and come in at night until it warms up.
In other news everything is going well, all the other animals are doing great and I have pictures to post of some.

Well I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted to of the animals for this update. Things got a little busy and honestly I forgot, so I will post some of the ones that I currently have and will get more. There are some really cool things going on, our chickens are laying around 20 eggs a day so we have those for sale. We think Lisle is pregnant still have a wile before we can really tell. If she is we are going to be doing a wonderful section on here for her. I am back to making soap and have both an Etsy shop and square site shop up and running, so please take a look at those. More updates to come soon, please enjoy the pictures.
Some of our beautiful eggs the girls are laying.

Hello everyone, once again it has been a while since I have updated the farm page. Well a lot has happened since my last update and I am excited to share it all with you.
To start with the ducklings that hatched late this year are still inside because it got to cold to integrate them in time for winter. This means we are stuck with them in the house until spring, lets just say they are spoiled rotten and goof balls.
Christmas came and that means people had real Christmas trees to dispose of, so we asked folks to bring our goat's their clean untreated trees. We did not realize that this would turn into a news story on several networks and radio stations. This was awesome, we got to meet some super nice people and our goats got so many trees we were able to share with one of our sister farms. If you would like to see one of the news broadcasts click here.
So other things that have happened are I sold a lot of soap with people coming and that inspired me to make more and get back involved with a local farmers market in Hampden, Maine. I have also decided once I get enough stock I will be opening an etsy store to sell soap to a larger demographic.
Another big thing happened on the farm, we sent Lisle over to our sister farm Lally Broch on a date, well she decided that she did not want to have the boyfriend that we chose for her, so she broke out of the honey moon sweet and fraternized with other boy's. So this means that we do not know who will be the father of Lisle's baby or babies but we do know they will be adorable just the same. She should have her kid around June 10th 2021.
Our chickens have started laying eggs more steadily now, they are doing wonderful. We are looking forward to incubating some eggs this year with our chickens and Muscovy ducks. We are also planning on moving the ducks to a bigger area and adding onto the chicken's coop and area.
I am going to do another update in a few day's with some pictures from around the farm, we are expecting a storm to hit on Tuesday into Wednesday so it will most likely be after that. Hope you are all staying safe and warm.
